I’d definitely make something to summarize my 2011 but not now. In the meantime, let me share some random thoughts.
“Always give them the benefit of the doubt.” I didn’t know what that meant when I was a kid. But when I asked my mom about it, of course, she had an explanation. As per this site, it means, “to believe something good about someone, rather than something bad, when you have the possibility of doing either.” That exactly what I grew up with. I was taught to look at the good side, the hidden kindness or honesty on everything. Or sometimes, just take what it is. Then move on. Move forward. Do something about it, if you must.
It’s frustrating to personally know people who hardly do that anymore. They do the opposite. They suspect. They judge. Usually, I wouldn’t do much about it. Because I believe, I don’t have any business with other people’s opinions or feelings or judgement. Sometimes though, I cannot take it anymore. How cruel it is to be judged and be talked about. Especially behind you, that you can never defend yourself.
Essentially, why judging people makes a conversation interesting and enjoyable to some?
Please, let me remind everyone of this.

It doesn’t have to be other people.
It’s another new year. It wouldn’t hurt to include this in our resolution list.
I commend all those who do their best to understand. Really, it’s hard ‘cos the other side is so tempting and easy and fun. But, just not right.
HAPPY 1.2.12 Y’ALL!
P.S. I’m definitely not coming clean on this but, as much as possible, when it’s inevitable, I just let it go in one ear and out the other. You can always try it. :)
“The road to a friend’s house is never too long.”
I’ve known only few friends who could actually drive me home when I couldn’t, i.e. drunk or unsafe to travel alone. I’ll always be thankful for these people. It’s very rare, I tell you! I used to think how difficult it’s become to live outside Metro Manila but, on a brighter side„ I get to realize who really CARES.
I usually bring a car when going out cos I don’t want to worry how will I suppose to go and arrive home safe. However, one time, drinks went over my hands and I got a little tipsy. I knew I couldn’t drive properly but didn’t have a choice cos the people I was with didn’t bother to offer a helping hand. (Yeah, things kind of suck like that sometimes.) I was so nervous and promised myself to not ever do that again. (Promises are made to be broken.) Anyway, so what happened? Nothing bad. I was lucky to be the only car on the road. And even luckier to not pass by any person with an intention of crossing the streets before me. I got home safe, praise God!!
Aside from the “don’t drink and drive” moral lesson of my story, I want to point out that true caring friends are very rare and hard to find. Most people fake it. Some couldn’t even careless of what you’re going through, much less of your safety. They can remind you to “take care” all they want just for the sake of it. But to really wait for your message to know you arrived home safe? Very seldom happens! So this I say, when it happened, treasure and cherish that friend of yours because he/she is definitely for keeps.
Friends who offer you their shelter for a sleepover is another story. But also the same, they are for keeps. :)
I’m thankful. They may not be many but I know I can count on them when I need the most… Cos they care.
As a matter of fact, these can actually represent my whole last week. I had a mix of randomness, spontaneity and awesomeness!
I’ll tell more about the stories next time. For now, analyze these pictures for innate awesomeness! Hihi.

Date: September 4, 2011
Location: St. Michael Parish and Gerry’s Grill in SM Bacoor
I think I’ll be home for the rest of the weekend ‘cos I need to study about something for the following week. (EXPLAIN!) Haha. And because of that, 7 & 8 will be the representative of these days. Hihi.
Very spontaneously akong na-invite for social drinking last night. Arriving at 5AM this morning. Haha! Let me show the pictures to tell the story.

After almost two hours of deciding, we ended up at Giligan’s in Glorietta 5! Great talks with them. Then some left. Some arrived.

I was with these people for almost 8 hours! Grabe! So fun! A lot of wild laughs. Super nakakatawa talaga! Bet na bet! Haha! Nice to meet you guys! :)
These are the people I worked with during our photoshoot. It may not be obvious but I’m very much intimidated by the expertise they possess. They’re gooooood! Like REAL goooood! Easy to work with pa! :) Idol! Hehe! Posted via Tumblr for BlackBerry.
