Ayala Triangle in the daylight

mdos365:

Makati Everyday

2/365: Tra.. lala.. la la… A few more sleeps ‘til work starts… tralalala…

This is [another] one of my favorite views of Galera, the sunset. Everybody would simply hang out along the beach just to watch the sun disappearing below the western horizon.

I know we can also witness the same here in Manila but I still find a difference between the two. Maybe because of the crowd? Or the people I was with? Or the idea of watching the sun setting on the viewpoint of this island? Or maybe it was just all in my mind? I am now confused.

But looking at this photo (taken by my awesome officemate with her own camera), it makes me want to go back and gaze at the same view over and over again.

Now, I wonder how is it like to live there… permanently.

Sure, there were so many worries occured in Galera. But one gotta love this view! It’s one of the beautiful things I’ve seen. I can’t put into words the feeling I had when I was in an island like this. All alone. Just hanging out with nature. Admit it, it’s not everyday that we see calm landscape like this. So laid-back… :)

Photo taken using my BlackBerry

Galera in the morning! Next time, I’ll make sure to bring Dos all the time. I find it too risky to leave it anywhere kasi. So the result, most of my pictures of the beach came from my BlackBerry. One more thing, our accommodation was not really at the beachfront. Hence, getting back and forth to pick up my things and go swimming was a bit tedious. Sorry for the constraints I made up for myself. Haha!
