It's ON.
As in, OVERNIGHT!
Of course, it’s not new to me to still be up at this hour. But the thing that I’m not used to is to work. No not really as per se. But actually, work at the client’s premises. Yes, I’m staying over night here at The Fort. Not becausewe’re inefficient and can’t finish our workload with the required time, it is because… well, yeah,...

SECOND IN FIRST
It was not your top priority firm to work at. Heck, it wasn’t even on your list when you were job hunting. Even worse, you didn’t know about it when you were studying. You might have heard it once or twice but it didn’t make an impact in your memory. Still, you pursued it anyway. Apparently, the firm you were prioritizing didn’t prioritize you in hiring.
Aside from it...

Oh 2012
Birthday ko na pala?
I don’t know what’s worse between acknowledging and ignoring the idea.
Tell me, please.
Not only because I want to know but also I need to understand.

2012 Start-Up
Don’t judge.
It’s always on my mind to control “it.” But I can’t. However, I recently saw a poster that happened to inspire me to do “it.” So I guess I’m heading to right track. Guess I already got past the in-denial stage and is now moving on to a brighter and better future.
Wow. What am I talking about? Haha! So random.
Anyway, I’ll share...

I may have a different opinion on this but I have to do my part because… majority wins. That’s democracy, rule of the majority. :)

1.2.12
I’d definitely make something to summarize my 2011 but not now. In the meantime, let me share some random thoughts.
“Always give them the benefit of the doubt.” I didn’t know what that meant when I was a kid. But when I asked my mom about it, of course, she had an explanation. As per this site, it means, “to believe something good about someone, rather than something...

Another Suicide
I notice a lot of people are now committing suicide. Well, most of them are public people that’s why we’re informed. Up to this time, it’s still trending on twitter. The recent death of Tyrone Perez. While still checking out confirmations of the fact over the internet, I stumbled upon these two tweets coming from Bianca Gonzalez and Camille Prats:
I couldn’t agree more....

Random Night in 2011
I’m going to talk about what happened tonight. No, not work, I believe I’ve whined enough about it on my twitter (@miadagal). Hehe. It’s not every night that I accidentally send a wrong message to everyone, that I run out of cash, and that someone approaches me and asks for money. All those happened to me on my way home. I was basag like that, daig pa ang nakainom. Haha!
I came from Crossing...

Baguio - Part 2
Photos above were grabbed from Facebook. Nothing is mine. Apparently, I have tons of pending photos yet to post-process. WHY AM I SO BUSY? </3
P.S. Last two .GIFs won’t do it. :( Ugh.

Freedom? What freedom? Nobody's free.
Somehow, it has gotten into me.
I’m afraid I might lose myself.
One always has to adjust for others. What for? To live the ideal life. The life that everybody wants and dreams of.
Reality sucks. Cos in reality, there’s really no such thing as being independent. You can’t do everything by yourself, even for yourself. It always has to involve other people.
Then, people judge.

Rue Bourbon
It was my first time at Rue Bourbon, happened on the last two days of November. Haha. It was a spontaneous drink night. Apparently, one of my friends felt so sad and we just simply had to comfort her. Haha. Good thing that the next day was declared as a holiday. It was okay to drink and spend some time having fun after weeks of being committed to work. Haha.
I’ve heard good reviews about...

Month 11
It’s almost end of the year so let me recall the week that has passed.
My Engineer cousin who’s of my age and his mom treated us for their birthdays at Gerry’s Grill in SM Bacoor. Super busog. Thank you very much! :)
Then we went to Heritage Park to visit Mamang. <3 Stayed for the rest of the night there. Rea had work the next day so she stayed at home and took a rest. :)...

Red Cups
… are back. And it means only one thing: sticker collection!
Apparently, this is still inside my wallet up to date: last year’s collection card. I wasn’t able to finish my third and nobody asked for it from me. So I decided to keep it. I’m surprised it lasted a year, though.
Here’s this year’s card look.
So for my first order, I got my favorite Toffee Nut...

Who Cares? For Keeps!
“The road to a friend’s house is never too long.”
I’ve known only few friends who could actually drive me home when I couldn’t, i.e. drunk or unsafe to travel alone. I’ll always be thankful for these people. It’s very rare, I tell you! I used to think how difficult it’s become to live outside Metro Manila but, on a brighter side„ I get to...

Bloodless
I’ve never had a problem with blood extraction until last week. I always look at the whole process of it. Matapang ako eh. Haha. But this one’s different. Kalurks! There was no blood! Paikot-ikot na yung karayom sa balat ko. Haha. I want to upload the video here pero baka himatayin kayo eh. Chos. Haha.

Saiz is back!
I was able to pick up my digital camera this morning at Canon Service Center in Paseo de Magallanes (takes too much time to get a cab from this place!). It’s been there for almost a month, getting its flash fixed. Flop when I tested it right there. Took a shot of my palm. Naturally, flash wouldn’t work! Haha! So far, so good.
Started to test again when I got home.

Dad's 2011 Birthday
Here are some pictures I took with my Nikon DSLR D5000 in celebration of my dad’s birthday at Ayala Triangle! :)
Most pictures are on facebook. Others are kept on my hard drive. Hehe. :)

Happy Birthday Daddy!
After 13 years of spending the day continents apart, we finally celebrated it together again! I’m happy we were able to make it happen even when planned for a very limited time. I rushed to buy a cake from Conti’s in Greenbelt after work. Then walked quickly along Paseo then underpass to reach Ayala Triangle. Whew! I was about to throw up cos, before I left the office, I forced myself...

ONE FORTY PLUS: Steve. →
jhnmyr:
I wanted to share with you a memory of my friend Steve Jobs, a memory that in the days since his passing has come to represent how great of a guy he was, and how good he was to me.
I first met Steve in 2003, over the phone, when I cold-called him to tell him I was a devout fan of all things Apple…
Aww! I had goosebumps reading this.
